Privacy Policy
Dishari Physics Academy is responsible for your personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Questions or requests: dishariphysics@gmail.com (Grievance Officer: TODO: Name, designation).
What we collect

| Email address | To send your one-time sign-in codes and your ticket, and to let you recover it. |
| Name and mobile number (buyers) | To issue the ticket and contact you about your order. |
| Student details from your academy (name, roll no., class, email, phone, parent’s name) | To issue free student passes and check people in. |
| Payment references (Razorpay order and payment IDs, amount, status) | To confirm payment, issue tickets and process refunds. We never receive card or UPI credentials. |
| Entry records (time, which entry on the ticket, volunteer) | To stop a ticket being used twice, and for safety and headcounts. |
| IP address and basic request logs | Security and rate limiting (for example, stopping code-guessing). |
What we don’t do
- No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no selling or sharing of your data for marketing.
- Your QR code contains a random number only: no name, email or other personal data.
Who processes it
- Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd.: payment processing.
- Our email provider (Hostinger): delivering codes and tickets.
- Our hosting provider: running this website and its database in India or the region we host in.
- Google Maps: the venue map on the home page is embedded from Google, which loads only when you scroll to it and is covered by Google’s own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one keeps you signed in after verifying your email (30 days), and one keeps staff signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies of ours, so there’s no cookie banner. The embedded Google map may set Google’s own cookies when it loads.
How long we keep it
Ticket, entry and student data: up to 90 days after the event, then deleted or anonymised for headcount statistics. Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires. Sign-in codes: deleted within 24 hours.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing dishariphysics@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
